We comply with all your statutory rights
Cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you may cancel your order for any reason within 7 (seven) working days following the day on which you receive the goods, providing goods are returned unused and in an ‘as sold’ condition (subject to our inspection). This applies to all of our products except for earrings (for health and safety reasons) and custom-made and commissioned jewellery items. To cancel your purchase within the 7 working days cooling-off period, please follow the simple process described by our return procedures
Warranty policy
All jewellery purchased from the Adorned Jewellery website is covered by a 6 month repair or replacement warranty for any defect, such as, but not limited to breakage, noticeable deformation, bending and denting that might occur with normal wear. Loss or damage is not covered resulting from abuse, normal wear, mysterious disappearance or repair, sizing or any other work done on your jewellery other than by Adorned Jewellery or another jewellery company that we have specifically authorized. Adorned Jewellery will repair or replace your setting at our option, if it is defective in materials or craftsmanship. Any claim arising under this limited warranty must be submitted by the original purchaser and shall include proof of purchase. Adorned Jewellery shall not be responsible for or obligated to pay for shipping or other transportation related costs or expenses in connection with any defective products or components that are either returned to Adorned Jewellery or any authorized repair partner and/or any replacement products or components that are shipped from Adorned Jewellery pursuant to this warranty.
Return Procedures
To send us the defective jewellery to be repaired or replaced, please box up your jewellery article(s) wrapping each piece securely and send it to us prepaid and insured for the full price by a traceable carrier such as Royal Mail registered post with a copy of your receipt to: Adorned Jewellery, Parkside House, 17 East Parade, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 5LF.
Our experts will inspect the returned contents upon receipt of your return for any signs of wear, tear and tampering before issuing refunds, replacements or credits. You should be aware that once the return process begins you will not be able to cancel any additional contracts you may have with us until the return process is complete. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the product, which will be deducted from your refund unless we delivered the wrong product to you, or if the product is damaged or defective upon arrival.
Adorned Jewellery does NOT cover the following:
- The loss, theft or mysterious disappearance of the centre and/or side stones;resizing by one full ring size up or down;
- theft, loss and/or mysterious disappearance of the jewellery;
- damage resulting from unauthorized repair; damage caused during delivery, negligence, misuse or abuse;
- alteration or intervention performed other than by an authorized Adorned Jewellery partner;
- jewellery article(s) with altered or removed hallmarked stamps;
- cost of shipping to or from Adorned Jewellery service facility.
This repair or replacement warranty is valid only at Adorned Jewellery. Improper repair or service performed by someone other than Adorned Jewellery will void this warranty. A proof of purchase must be provided in order to receive the warranty service.
You can expect that Adorned Jewellery will:
Adhere to the terms of the Sale of Goods Act, the EU Distance Selling Regulations and the EU;
Adhere to the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications;
Conform to the Data Protection Act 1998;
Provide security for the processing of credit card transactions;
Include our contact details on the website;
Display the total price you must pay for goods including delivery costs and provide a clear explanation of the delivery procedures;
Not use ´spam´ for marketing purposes;
We will keep your personal information safe and secure;
It is advisable that you:
Keep records of what you have ordered;
EU law protects you against fraudulent use of your payment card in EU transactions: credit cards give you extra protection;
Only give your payment card details over a secure connection, and never by email: never disclose your PIN to anyone, and NEVER send it over the internet;
You usually have 7 days to cancel an order and request a full refund;
Check your payment card statement carefully: you have at least 90 days to report a suspect transaction;
